We did our research and also invested in a real lens for our Nikon D50. It's a Sigma 17-70mm F2.8-4.5 DC Macro. It does everything we need: macros, a bit of telephoto and a nice wide angle. The best part is that it was way more affordable than the Nikkor lenses and we reckon the results are better anyway. Looking forward to taking lots of nice shots with this one.

More New Toys
We both got new guitars last Saturday. Mine (left) is a Martinez MK52PBL Acoustic Cutaway. Darren is going to teach me how to play. Darren's is a Squier Chambered Tele. If you're interested, follow the links to more pictures of mine and more pictures of Darren's.
